Emaginos Corporate Media Kit

Allan Jones President Allan Jones has spent over 40 years working in and around education. He served as a classroom teacher, a district chief information and technology officer in the public school system, a school board member, as well as taught college courses for teachers. Jones co-founded an online high school, consulting with school districts on technology planning, and worked in the Corporate Research Division for Digital Equipment Corporation. While there, he created programs for the company to iden- tify and incorporate ideas from leading universities. After many years gleaning first-hand insight as to the good, bad and ugly within the U.S. public school system, Jones joined Dr. Larick to transform America’s schools into centers of innovation and discovery. Jack Taub Chief Visionary Jack Taub was the chief visionary of Emaginos Inc. From Brooklyn, New York, Taub dropped out of school to pursue a passion for stamp collecting. He and his brother Bert, both respected philatelists, developed a successful business, at one time securing an exclusive contract with the USPS to sell stamp-collecting materials across the country. From those earnings, the brothers invested in what would today be consid- ered one of the first social networking applications – though the term did not yet exist. Neither Jack nor Bert had a good experience within the K-12 school system, so they turned their sights on fixing it. Holding to the idea that all students can succeed in education, the brothers part- nered with Dr. Larick to design new models for education.
