Emaginos’ start-up costs to build the EdManage platform and its student centered, multidisciplinary, textbook-free, learning-team, project-based curriculum are significant. However, the company expects to incur relatively small incremental costs to sell, deliver and support the program once the platform and curriculum are built. While districts implementing the Emaginos platform incur larger up-front costs to pay for the model and annual subscription, the system is designed to reduce or maintain overall expenditures. Without the need for textbooks, additional technology and extra support staffing, schools can operate more efficiently and realize additional cost savings.
