Platosa Mine – Silver, Lead, Zinc – Production, Development & Exploration Excellon’s 100% owned and operated Platosa Mine is a 1 1 ,000-hectare property located 5 km north of Bermejillo, Durango, Mexico. The mine commenced production in 2005 as an underground operation. Excellon is mining massive sulfide ores that are rich in silver, lead and zinc from a series flat-lying massive sulfide bodies (mantos) in a carbonate replace- ment deposit system. Historicall y, a modified room-and-pillar mining method was used, which transitioned to cut-and-fill in recent years and overhand-cut-and-bench in 2020. The ore produced from the mine is transported for processing to the company’s 100% owned Miguel Auza mill, which is located 200 km south of Platosa. Kilgore Project – Gold – Exploration & Resource Growth The Kilgore Project is 100% owned and operated by Excellon. Located in the United States, within eastern Idaho’s Clark County, the 6 , 788 - hectare project is in the exploration and development phase with an epithermal gold system as its primary target. Historical mining on the property dates back to the 1930s, with modern mineral exploration beginning in the 1980s. The Kilgore Project displays high-grade, near- surface miner-alization with characteristics similar to Kinross Gold’s Round Mountain Mine, which has produced more than 15 million ounces of gold since commencing operations in 1977.
